I finally got some deep fried ice cream!! As an appetizer :)

our 'Summit' table

And everyone else

w00t

Snowboarding, I guess I didn't write anything. I went with Rachael last Wednesday, and I got trashed. I strained a muscle in my stomach, bruised my ribs... oh man. Having called in sick to go in the first place, I had to call in sick the next day because I couldn't even sit up. My stomach hurt soooo bad. And my.. ah... muscles on the front of my shoulders, whatever those are, killed. Like MAD. I couldn't even lift a pillow or something. I have never been in so much pain, not that I can remember anyway. But I lived, that's the good thing.

Thursday we went in to Calgary, so we could go to MEC, get some California stuff. I got an awesome Nalgene sippy cup. Yep, for little kids. I love it, tho I don't know how little kids get anything out of it. You have to suck so hard, my throat hurts before long. We also picked up James Epp and went to Chinook, and to East Side Mario's to eat. James got a balloon, but it escaped. Poor muffin.

Saturday, Joy had a surprise for us. All she told us was she had reservations for supper somewhere in Banff. I found out about most of it that day, because of someone leaving a msg on the answering machine, but Joy (and everyone else) did a great job at keeping it a secret. We went to Tony Roma's in Banff, and there was a ton of people there! And then Jeremy, Nicole, James and Reid showed up!! We found out earlier about Jere and Nicole, cos they called the house looking for Joy, but James and Reid was such a surprise! It was funny, because Rachael and I had been sitting at our own table, feeling all alone, but it ended up being like a Summit table. I haven't laughed that hard in along time. Jeremy and the guys talked about the Cambridge boys a lot, it was hilarious. Most of the stories I had heard last weekend when Jeremy and Nicole were here, but they were just as funny the second time, if not more so. I cannot wait for the wedding, it's going to be so awesome to see everyone! We came back here after, with Reid and James, and Jody met us here. We had a great time, laughing at Reid and all the crazy things he was doing. We did some nose blows, Reid tightened the lids on all our peanut butter (which we still haven't gotten off) and lots of other retardedly funny stuff. I miss those guys so much :) After they left, Jody was like, 'what kind of school did you go to???' lol. Only the best :)

Sunday was our last night at Banff Park Church, which was kind of sad. Even tho I didn't go every week, it was an amazing church, and I'm going to miss it.

Monday, Karen and Jess came to Canmore, and we hung out for a few hours in the afternoon. It was good to see Karen before I left, and Jess is a really cool girl. Also the rest of the Haags stopped by to say goodbye. Jody and I went and saw 'V for Vendetta'. Good movie, I recommend it. James was here when we got back, so we were up until 2 or so. James was 'upset' that I went and saw 'V for Vendetta' with Jody, because he wanted to see it with me. lol. So, I told him we could go see a movie on Tuesday. Which we did, along with Rach and Melissa. We saw 'Inside Man'. Excellent movie!! Go see it! And the music at the end is great. Thumbs up.

Tonight we have our last college and career group before we leave. Considering I just went for the first time last week, it's not a big deal to me, but Rach and Melissa have gotten to know a lot of them quite well and are going to miss them. They are for sure a great group of people. We're going to go hike Grotto in the dark. Should be interesting. The fam did it on Monday, and they said it's ice all the way up. I told Shane that if I break a leg, someone is carrying me out.

Two more days of work! Crazy busy days, but only 2!! And then, CALIFORNIA, HERE WE COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pray for James. I have a feeling Melissa will kill or at least serious maim him before the trip is over.

White Swan Hot Springs

We went to White Swan Provintial Park in BC on Tuesday night, a 3 hour drive, to their natural hot springs. It was great. We took two full vehicles. We all went in Dave Brayer's truck, and Rach and I snuggled in the back with James, haha. He "kept us warm". Tee hee. The hot springs were, well... hot. Too hot for my liking. It was hard to be comfortable. If I was fully in the water, I could only last a couple minutes before I had to get out. Then I was cold. I couldn't find the happy medium of partially in, partially out. So I got in and out every couple of minutes. What a hassle. Plus it reeked of sulphur, just like rotten eggs. But you got used to it pretty quick. We must have sat there for a couple hours. I got pretty ancy. Rach and I layed down in the river too, which was pretty friggin cold, only we were super hot so it wasn't too bad. Good times. Despite what it prolly sounds like, I did actually have fun!! Posted by Picasa

Pirates Attack!!

As you can see, we tied up Dave the other night. It was completely his idea. He wanted to see if he could get out. We didn't try very hard - I used a lot of Granny knots - and it took him 48 minutes to get out. We want to have a rematch this weekend, and actually try :) Also while he was tied up, we thought we'd give him a little make up... haha. Isn't he pretty :) There are more pictures on my MSN Space

Seven more days of work left!! Ahh I can't wait to be done :D We have two new housemates now, and another comes today. Suman, Brandon, and Sarah. Yes, Brandon is a girl. Sarah comes today. I had to move out of my room, so I'm camping out in Joy's room until we're done. Which is a retarded hassle, but oh well it's not for long. On April 1st, we're off to California!! YAAAA!!!! :D Myself, Rachael, Melissa and James. Wonderful James :) Hehe. We are so excited! Camping on the beach... laying all day in the sun. What more could you ask for, after 6ish months of housekeeping?? Oh man, it is going to be so good.

Tonight we are going to White Swan, a Provincial (?) park in BC, with completely natural hot springs. It's like a 3 hour drive, but it's the experience I guess. Well I must be off. Ciao-io! Posted by Picasa

It's not hard to fall, when you float like a cannonball

If you haven't heard 'Cannonball' by Damien Rice, listen to it. It's an excellent song.

If cats could talk....

Aloha. Well, well, well. Steph was here!! As you can see from the pics. Her, Titus, and this Dan guy drove here from Winnipeg, for three days. To snowboard at Lake Louise. It was so good to see Steph again! It's been over a year. And I never figured I'd see Titus again. We actually went two days without seeing James. Imagine! Dave called me sunday night and James was there - I told Dave to tell him we miss him and that the house is empty without him here, hehe. He broke his streak at 10 days in a row. He was back on Tuesday tho, we hung out here, James helped me with a thing on my computer, then we went to the Paw to meet everyone else. We stayed up til like 4 that night, James, Rach, Steph, Dan and I. Then I called in sick, lol. I was actually some what sick, but I really didn't want to go to work. Not at all.
Last night, James came and picked me up, went downtown to see if the candy store was open, for more tim tam cookies. Yeah! I found some on Sat. in Calgary, we all had some Tuesday night. It's been two years, they are sooo amazing. Anyway, he and I went looking for more. The candy store was closed, so we went to Banff. The candy store there was open, but they didn't have any. We ended up driving around Banff for like almost two hours. James loves to just drive around. Then we came back to Canmore and ...guess what... drove around. It's fun, though. We went to BP's for a late supper. Then, we went back to his house. His parents were there, so I got to actually meet them. They pretty much made jokes at James' expense the whole time. They're hilarious, but I felt kind of bad for him. His cat bit my toe. It was funny, the three of them would like remember a line from a song, relating to what we were talking about, and they'd break out singing, hehe... it was so cute!

Don't drink the water in Banff! They're almost in a state of emergancy... they're under a boil water thing right now. James' dad told us about it, but it's a secret. :)

Steph is here!!

Bryan Gillmore

This is Bryan, Bryan Gillmore.....*pause*. Sorry, I almost barfed there. Whenever I say that name I feel gross. Bryan is by far the stupidest guy in the world. Not only the stupidest, but the ugliest. You don't know ugly until you've met, or even seen, Bryan. He has no knowledge of anything....ANYTHING!!!! He just sits at home and is stupid, fat, and ugly, and just spits and barfs all over himself, because he can't even stand being Bryan Gillmore....*pause*....eww, a dry heave this time. He's never taken the time to visit me....and I'm fine with that. I actually never want to see him again. You should never meet him, ever. And ladies, he'll be single for life, and is not a catch. This, my friends, is Bryan Gillmore......BARF!!!!!!!!!

Jared didn't like that other picture. Let's see if he likes this one.

Jared

This is Jared. Jared MacGregor. He is by far the coolest guy in the world. Not only the coolest, but the funniest. You've never seen funny until you've met Jared. He also has the most knowledge of the original Star Trek, of anyone I've ever encountered. Jared is SOOOOO cool :) This one time, he and Mark came to NB to visit Rachael and I. How great of a friend is he! Who drives hours to see his friends. Uh huh, Jared is way cool. You should meet him. And ladies, he's single. What a catch.

James

Maggie

Fuzzy Navel

So tired... must... sleep... bah. I've about had enuf of staying up to ungodly hours cos people just won't leave. Haha, well, kind of.. but I don't really mind. James is at day 10 in a row of being at our house. Last night he left at 4. Four friggin' AM. I've gone to bed I think once before 2 in the last two weeks. It's getting a little ridiculous. But, every time someone is here, I just think that I have less than a month left here now, and I want to make the most of it. Even if that means going to work every day on 3 hours of sleep. On Wednesday, we had C&C here, and Shane fell asleep, so Trent and Dusty, who came with him, were stuck here. And no one thought to wake Shane up. So they and James (of course) stayed until 4 am. I made it til 2, but of the 8 people I was the only one who had to work the next day. Bah.
I need a nap.
Rachel has gone back to BC... terribly sad :( We all went out last night in Banff for a goodbye party. A couple pics... Maggie and James.
