Yep
Well. I'm not very good with this thing now that I'm home. Not much to say, to be honest. I'm working at Falls Brook Centre (www.fallsbrookcentre.ca) again this summer. It's a pretty good job, so that's good. I do a lot of gardening/weeding/mowing/cooking, and am also organizing their fall fair, which is a pretty big job. I'm in the middle of booking musicians right now. It's a stressful job. A lot rests on me it seems, if things don't go ok. Anyway. I did it last year and everything went fine. So here's to number two.
Other than work, life is pretty boring. EXCEPT: Kevin, Richard and Chris coming to visit me!!! They stopped by for a night and a day while on their Maritime Tour. It was so good to see them!! I couldn't have picked anyone that I would want to visit me more! We had so much fun :) Pretty well played cards the entire time they were here. Stayed up til 4am playing, and even played while driving to Maine. I have to say, playing cards while driving isn't the most steller idea. Sorting was the hardest. Plus everyone could see my cards. I managed to get us around alive, but I was definitely questioning that at times. We at least had the good sense to hide the cards at the border :) I hadn't played cards since Arkansas really, so it was good to play again, and with the same people :)
Also, the other night, Erika, Amber and I went to Woodstock. We were in McDonalds, and when we left, didn't Erika throw her retainers in the garbage. For frigs sakes Erika! She just got them a few weeks ago too! Anyway, we went back once we remembered, and I rummaged through the garbage til I found them. Luckily they were on the topish bit. Everyone clapped when I retrieved them :) And then.... the McDonalds people offered some warm water for her to put them in. And when she gets home and tries to put them back in, realizes that is wasn't in fact 'warm' water, but boiling hot water, and they melted out of shape!!!!! :S And at 50 bucks a pop, that really sucks.
So I guess that's all I have to say. Mum, Dad, and I are going to spend the weekend at Jean's cottage in St. Andrews. A weekend on the ocean should be nice. Not sure what we're going to do... go canoeing and kayaking.. lay on the beach... not sure if there's any sand or if it's rocky... hmm... oh well.
