Still home...
Ok. Posting finally. Lets see.. where did I leave off... ah yes. California. Well, we had a great trip. Well, Rachael and I had a great trip. Melissa... not so much. James.. I really don't know. I think he was pretty sick of us by the end of the trip :S Which... well, sucks. And I haven't heard from him since so, it's not looking good. But, I had a great time! We got our piercing on Sunday, as well as went and saw a movie in Mann's Chinese Theatre. Wicked place. Monday, our last day there, James and I went to Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure! It was SO much fun!!!! I had a blast, awesome last day in LA. Ah man it was so much fun. If you're ever there, make sure you go on the Hollywood Tower Hotel ride in California Adventure! It's the best ever! We went 3 times. We were there 13 hours, from 11-12am, and by the end we were so tired and our feet ached - James' especially - and my shoulder hurt so bad I could barely lift my arm. Still, it was definitely worth it, and I'm so glad we went :)
It took us 35 hours to drive back, opposed to the 25 it took us to get there. We went back up through northern California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho and into BC. We didn't realize it was going to take that much longer, but seeing beautiful Oregon was worth the extra hours. It was gorgeous.
The morning after we got back, we flew to Toronto for Josh and Charisse's wedding. Goodbye Canmore :( The wedding was beautiful, I'm so happy for Josh and Charisse. They are a perfect match. It was so good seeing all the Summiters, and staying in Cambridge at the guys house. Then I had to say goodbye to Melissa and Rachael. That was hard, but I knew I would see Rachael soon, and we'd be together again at the reunion in only a month. I spent a week with Nikole. That was much needed, spending time with her again :) How I missed her!! We went to Niagra Falls, my first time there. It's so nice there, tho strangly just like being in Hollywood.
And now I'm home. Home is... just like always. I don't think I can stay here. I miss Canmore so much it's insane. I didn't think I would miss the mountains, but I do. And I miss everyone. James, Jody, Dave, Joy, Maggie, everyone. It's terrible. Rachael was here the last couple days, and we talked about Canmore and James and Dave and California forever. We miss it so much. Talking about made me really realize that that's where I want to be right now. The only reason I have to stay home is for money, and even tho it's a logical reason, it also seems to be the silliest. So... I'm starting to look into going back at the end of May.
Back to Rachael.. we've been talking about looking for this waterfall for two and a half years, and yesterday we finally went. And didn't find it. Haha.. we just have started too high, cos we walked until the water ended. Sigh. Mum or Sam'll have to show me where it is, and then we'll go back sometime. We had a great time anyway. We slept outside under my tarp, while it rained/snowed off and on. It's great to sleep outside :)
Anyway, that's about it. Take me back to Canmore.
